Estudio Adelias is Marggie Weekley's home studio and community-centered creative space located in Driftwood, Texas. The studio is named after Marggie (her first name) and her grandmother Adelia, a Mexican painter whose creativity continues to inspire the space.Â
Marggie has opened up her home studio to local artists at no charge, serving as a Venue Patron with the goal of creating opportunities for local artists to share their passion and bring more art to the community. Estudio Adelias has mainly hosted children's art workshops led by artist and former elementary art teacher, Molly McFee, as well as meetings for the Dripping Springs Art League's acrylic, watercolor, and oil clubs.
In addition to hosting community events, Marggie uses the studio as her personal creative space. She creates colorful expressive paintings inspired by everyday beauty. Her current work is mainly in watercolor and acrylic, though her love for painting began with oils and oil pastels back in high school. You can find her work on the menu link "Marggie's Art".
